Job Description:
Our Client is looking for a highly skilled IT Support Specialist with expertise in Microsoft 365 products, Microsoft 365 admin center, Azure AD, and Intune.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills, and have the ability to provide remote support efficiently.
Additionally, experience in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 is essential, and familiarity with MacOS is a plus.
Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support and assistance to end-users for Microsoft 365 products, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10/11 operating systems, hardware, and software applications.
· Troubleshoot and resolve MacOS incidents and configurations is a plus.
· Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services through the Microsoft 365 admin center, including user provisioning, license management, and sites permissions.
· Manage Azure Active Directory (AD) including user and group management, conditional access policies, and security configurations.
· Utilize Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and application management to ensure secure access to corporate resources.
· Conduct remote troubleshooting sessions to resolve technical issues efficiently and minimize downtime.
· Collaborate with the IT Manager to implement and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
· Document support activities, procedures, and resolutions to maintain an organized knowledge base.
· Communicate effectively with end-users to provide timely updates, instructions, and resolutions to technical issues.
· Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve IT support services.
· Travel to the clients Data Centers across East Africa when requested.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
· 3-5 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft 365 products and services.
· Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 services via the Microsoft 365 admin center.
· Good understanding of Azure Active Directory (AD) concepts and configurations.
· Experience in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 operating systems, hardware, and software applications.
· Experience with Intune for mobile device management and application management.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
· Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN.
· Experience supporting MacOS devices is a plus.
· Ability to provide remote technical support and assistance effectively.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
· Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
